This is a series I'm working on with my husband-photographer. It's called “Connected” and it examines the relationship between his abstract photography and my paintings. Each piece is comprised of a painting and a photograph hung together that, largely unknown to each of us at the time of its respective creation, seem to have been inspired by each other. It speaks to the way in which each of us, working separately, sees and interprets the world in front of us. In each pairing, the you'll see the painting either on the right or on the bottom. The other images is the corresponding photograph.
